My name is Mario Lovric and I was born in August 1966 in
Kresevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. I became a radio ham at age 14, when I
passed the C class exam at Kresevo radio club, YU4EKJ. In 1984 I
moved to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia , and joined Radio Club
Stelex YU4EXA, better known as YZ4Z in major contests.
My first own call sign was 4N4MX (since 1988) and later T94DX with
the constitution of the sovereign Bosnia-Herzegovina. In January
1992 I moved to Germany. I joined Darmstadt's radio Club DL0TD
where I met Felix, DL8OBC (now DL5XL) who helped me to get my guest
license so I was on the air as DL/4N4MX for the period of three
months. In early 1993 I was licensed as DL1FDV and then later in
December 1998 I've got the best Christmas gift one radio-ham may
wish, the long desired two-by-two call sign - DJ2MX
In 2003 I moved to Munich and I'm QRV on 160 - 6 m using CW, SSB
and RTTY.
